Montrose is an ideal base for Clubs to use for a tour. The town has first class accomodation (see under USEFUL LINKS). There are approx 20 clubs within 20 miles of Montrose who would be available for a friendly.

We as a Club have hosted many touring teams in the past from one day games to one weeks play, most recently Edinburgh & Leith ex Presidents Association who stayed for a week. They had the use of our green in the mornings for their own internal competitions and in the afternoon and evenings played friendlys against various Clubs in Angus. What a fantastic week that was. The greatest thing about bowls is the friends you make through it.
